Ardmore Watering Hole Among Philly Mag's 50 Best Bars

ARDMORE, PA – It's no secret Ardmore is home to stellar places to eat and drink. So it shouldn't be a surprise that one of it's newest spots was featured in Philadelphia Magazine's new list of the 50 Best Bars in Philadelphia.

Despite not being in the city proper, Ardmore's The Ripplewood made the cut.

The magazine listed The Ripplewood in its "cocktail bars" section of the list.

Here's what the Magazine has to say about the Lancaster Avenue watering hole:

The Rip’s staff takes great pride in their cocktail craftsmanship. And thank God they do, because without them, Ardmore would still be thirsting for a place that can shake up a decent daiquiri, let alone a great one.

The Ripplewood is no stranger to being held in high regard either.

It recently won top honors in the Cutthroat Cocktail and in the Judges' Choice Taco Takedown competitions at the 2018 Philly Burger Brawl.

Not to mention Philadelphia Inquirer Food Critic Craig LaBan had nothing but good things to say about it.
