Back-To-School Donations Being Accepted Across Lower Merion Township
Support the Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services' donation drive at various Lower Merino Township locations.
LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — As the Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services is hosting its Back-to-School Drive, Lower Merion Township is joining the effort.
Now through Aug. 24, various back-to-school items can be dropped off at the Lower Merion Police station, the Lower Merion Township Administration Building, and township libraries.
Donated items will help families in need across Montgomery County as the 2022-23 school year kicks off.

Below are items sought for donation:
- binders/pocket folders
- crayons/colored pencils
- flash drives
- glue/glue sticks
- highlighters
- index cards
- notebooks/loose-leaf paper
- pencils/pens/erasers
- rulers
- scientific calculators
- scissors/safety scissors
- disinfectant wipes
- hand sanitizer
- tissues
- backpacks
- combination locks
- headphones
- lunch bags
- pencil cases
The Lower Merion Township Police building is located at 71 E. Lancaster Ave., the township administration building is at 75 E. Lancaster Ave. Find a Lower Merion Township library here.

Donations can be dropped off at the Human Services Center at 1430 Dekalb Street in Norristown, as well.
