Bala Cynwyd Middle School Cross Country Goes Out On Top

Girls and boys teams earn wins to end their season.

With a their 2016 season already a successful one, the Bala Cynwyd girls and boys Cross Country teams found themselves winning another major event Friday Oct. 14, according to the district

The teams won both the girls' and the boys' races at the Trojan Invitational at Pottstown High School, with Matt Kuzas, Emilie Poutaisse, and Lucas Hernandez being individual winners.

On the ladies' side of the wins, runners were Theresa Lu Romeo, MJ Pennington, Maggie Monaghan, Allison Stewart, Kisara Freeman, Samantha Simon, Annika Naveen, Cadence Freeman, Charlie Powell, Sarah Cooke, Rebecca Altman, Caitlin McGinty, and Vivienne Hughes.

For the boys, Kuzas, Justin Badt, Jake Krimsky, David Litvin, Simon Schneider, Zach Craig, Ben Miller-Wilson, Jonathan Xu, Ben Wolf, Sam Davison, Paul DeSouza, Ilan Tauber, Gabe Greenberg, Rob Fleur, Tamrick Else, Akinyele Adebamgbe, Isaac Frank, Geoffrey Bynam, Asher Hancock, and Owen Weatherbee were among the winning runners.

Six-graders Brennan Else placed second and Sam Brown placed third.
