Bernheim, McElhaney​ Voted As Lower Merion Board Pres, Vice Pres

The two Democrats are now leading the board following Tuesday's meeting. Additionally, three new members were sworn in to the board Tuesday.

LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA – With a new year comes new leadership in the Lower Merion Township Board of Commissioners, as the board voted Tuesday night to elect its new president and vice president.

Both the president and vice president were voted in unanimously, with full support from the entire board.

Ward 1 Commissioner Daniel Bernheim, Esq., was voted as the board president and Ward 3 Commissioner Paul McElhaney as the board vice president. Both Bernheim and McElhaney are Democrats.

The Tuesday meeting also welcomed three new commissioners.

Anthony Stevenson (Ward 4), Andrew Gavrin (Ward 12), and Todd Sinai (Ward 6) were sworn in to their new roles on the board.
