Philabundance in Ardmore: Food for Thought
Help feed the hungry in our area through a show at Case Gallery in Ardmore.

There are almost a million people in the Delaware Valley who face hunger every day. They are working families hit hard by the recession; women and children, seniors trying to make ends meet. Recent studies indicate a 35 percent annual increase for those struggling to put food on the table in the greater Philadelphia area.
Two of my loves, art and food, are coming together to help the hungry. On Friday night (Feb 10th; 5-7 p.m.), you can help by bringing non-perishable food items and/or donations to an artist's recption for "Food for Thought," brought to you by Sandi Neiman Lovitz, and myself—at the Case (14 W. Lancaster Avenue in Ardmore).
The “Food for Thought” exhibit features about 18 abstract paintings. They vary in size, with the largest pieces measuring 48” by 48.” Though Lovitz was trained as a realistic painter, she prefers more interpretive work.

I will be holding a raffle at the reception for a free cooking lesson in your home with four friends. All the proceeds of the raffle will go to Philabundance. A portion of the art sales will also benefit Philabundance.
Join me in enjoying an evening supporting the arts, while meeting the artist, Sandi Neiman Lovitz, while learning more about Philabundance's mission to feed the greater Philadelphia area.
