Run, Don't Walk... or Maybe It's Best to Surf!

Today is another great fashion day for a local big box department store ... .  Giambatista Valli (a high-end fashion designer to the stars) has lauched a limited-edition capsule collection there. 

If you are unfamiliar with Giambatista Valli, it's because his designs are the ones in the fashion magazines and red carpets that we just drop our jaws looking at and never recover to ask, "Who made that dress?" Today is the first day that these deisgns are available for sale. 

There might be a slight bump in the road to finding the pieces at our Macy's. 

As I often begin every day (early, early morning) I check out the latest launches and additions to various designers and websites. This morning I clicked my way through Macy's website to find the Valli collection and really liked many of the pieces I saw. Some seem very much on trend (and may not appeal to the masses) but others were on the more classic side. According to New York magazine, the collection includes graphic tees, cocktail dresses, skirts, tops, jackets and pants ranging from $50 to $150.

The "bump in the road" appears to be that the few pieces I looked more closely at were not available in stores within a 15-mile radius of Ardmore. However, I have a rather easy solution for this—one I think you will like...

If you place your order online and spend over $99, you will get free shipping from Macy's. So that means that it will be delivered to your door (just like in Hollywood) and you can try it on in the privacy of your own home (who doesnt love that?). If you want it ... you keep it! If you dont want it you can return it to Macy's in Suburban Square.
