Welcome to the Senior News and Resource Guide

My name is Bob Gasparro. Please take a moment to read my bio in order to get the jist of who I am and what I bring to our community. In this blog we will discuss:  local senior resources; how to connect with those  local resources; the impact of national and statewide policies on our senior neighbors; and local events for seniors.

I am partial toward photos and video, and I hope to make this blog both informative and entertaining.

Comments are always welcome. If you have an idea for a post, please let me know. If you have a question, ask! Even if you think it's a simple question, there are probably many others who have the same question. Finally, I ask that you please be patient as I get used to the mechanics of this blog.

I just returned from a trip to the United Kingdom where I had an opportunity to explore and study senior resources under their health system. I hope to talk about that in the weeks ahead and compare some of their features to our own private health care system here in the U.S.
