Brandywine Global Donates 14 Pallets of Food to Help Residents in Need

Working with Philabundance, the team at Brandywine Global made a charitable donation to thousands of people at risk of hunger .

Brandywine Global made a recent charitable donation of 14 pallets of food that will help feed thousands of people at risk of hunger in the Delaware Valley. The firm wanted to support Philabundance once more like it did in 2009.

Back in 2009 Brandywine Global’s food and cash donations totaled 21,826 pounds of food (or 209 pounds per employee) and that happened to be the largest drive per person ever achieved for the organization.

The 2015 food drive was held August 24 - September 18 and every Philadelphia-based employee took part as the firm created 17 teams with 14-16 people on each.

Each year we support at least 10 charities that have an employee connection. We also try to do one big fundraiser each year for a charity of the firm’s choice.” The company has taken part in mud runs for Operation Gratitude, Pink Dress Up Days for Living Beyond Breast Cancer, supported Make-a-Wish and offered time and donations to CHOP, one of the country’s best hospitals.
