Bryn Mawr Owls Go Pink Next Week
The college's athletics department ends its year-long push to raise money for breast cancer research with 'pink-out' events.

Bryn Mawr College’s spring athletes will have an extra splash of color next week when they take on their opponents as part of the school’s athletics department’s “Owls Fight for a Cure - Pink Week.”
Since beginning the campaign in September, the department has already helped raise more than $1,400 dollars for breast cancer research and to benefit the Bryn Mawr Hospital Comprehensive Breast Center.
Next week is the department’s last big push to raise awareness and money through the spring sports. All of the spring squads will be participating in “pink-outs” and will be wearing pink gear such as sweatbands or shoelaces during their games, regattas, and other competitions.
