Burglary, Robbery, Indecent Exposure, More: Lower Merion Crime Blotter

LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — Police in Lower Merion released details on crime incidents in the township recently.

Incidents in the blotter occurred between Sept. 10 and Sept. 26.

Sept. 26

• Burglary (Bryn Mawr) - A safe located in an interior office of a local restaurant was entered and gone through during the overnight hours. No forced entry was located to the business or safe. The investigation into this incident is ongoing.

Sept. 25

• Theft from Vehicle (Bala Cynwyd) - The victim reported that the rear passenger window of their Chevrolet was broken out, and the vehicle was entered and gone through during the overnight hours. The Chevrolet was located in the parking garage of their apartment complex at this time. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
• Theft (Wynnewood) - The victim reported that multiple packages were stolen off of their porch, including a new iPhone 16, after being delivered. The investigation into the incident is continuing.

Sept. 24

• Theft (Bryn Mawr) - The victim reported that a package containing a new iPhone 16 was stolen off of their front porch shortly after it was delivered. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.

Sept. 22

• Indecent Exposure (Bala Cynwyd) - The victim reported that they observed an actor outside their apartment complex exposing themselves and masturbating. The investigation into the incident is continuing.

Sept. 21

• Theft from Vehicle (Bala Cynwyd) - The victim reported that their unlocked Toyota was entered and gone through overnight while parking in the parking lot of their apartment complex. Multiple items were stolen from the vehicle. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
• Theft from Vehicle (Bala Cynwyd) - The victim reported that their unlocked BMW was entered and gone through overnight while parking in the parking lot of their apartment complex. Multiple items were stolen from the vehicle. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
• Theft (Ardmore) - Multiple victims advised that packages they had delivered were stolen from the lobby of their apartment building. The investigations into these incidents are continuing.
• Theft of a Wallet (Ardmore) - The victim reported that while shopping at a local store they mistakenly left the wallet on the counter. When the victim returned a short time later, the wallet was gone and the victim discovered fraudulent charges on their credit cards. The investigation into the incident is continuing.

Sept. 20

• Loitering and Prowling (Bala Cynwyd) - Officers were dispatched to a report of a suspicious actor in the parking garage of an apartment complex attempting to open vehicle doors and doors to the building. Officers were able to locate the actor upon arrival and the actor was placed under arrest for outstanding warrants. The investigation into the incident is continuing.
• Theft (Ardmore) - Multiple victims advised that packages they had delivered were stolen from the lobby of their apartment building. The investigations into these incidents are continuing.

Sept. 19

• Theft from Vehicle (Bryn Mawr) - The victim reported that their Toyota was entered and gone through overnight. There did not appear to be anything missing from the vehicle at this time. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
• Burglary (Bala Cynwyd) - A witness reported observing an unknown actor enter a business office located in the first floor of an apartment building. The actor fled upon being observed inside the business. The investigation into this incident is ongoing.
• Robbery (Gladwyne) - The victim reported that after being dropped off at their residence by a ride-share, they were approached by an actor armed with a handgun. The actor went through the victim's pockets, taking their wallet and Rolex before fleeing in a white sedan. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.

Sept. 17

• Theft (Penn Valley) - The victim reported that sometime over the past couple of days a package was stolen from the front porch of their residence. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.

Sept. 16

• Theft from Vehicle (Ardmore) - A delivery truck driver reported that numerous items were stolen from the rear of their truck while making a delivery at the local Apple Store. The investigation into the incident is continuing.

Sept. 14

• Theft from Vehicle (Bala Cynwyd) - The victim reported that sometime over the past week their Jaguar was entered and gone through while parked in their driveway. It appears the vehicle was left unlocked. The investigation into the incident is continuing.

Sept. 12

• Theft (Bala Cynwyd) - The victim reported that packages were stolen from in front of their door in their apartment complex during the day. The investigation into the incident is continuing.
• Theft from Vehicle (Merion Station) - The victim reported that their Honda was entered and gone through overnight. The investigation is ongoing.
• Theft from Vehicle (Bryn Mawr) - The victim reported that while inside cleaning a local business, their unlocked Dodge was entered and their purse was stolen. The investigation into the incident is continuing.

Sept. 11

• Theft from Vehicle (Bala Cynwyd) - Officers were alerted by a security company of suspicious males loitering near vehicles in the parking garage of an apartment complex. Upon arrival, officers located a GMC with a broken rear window. The investigation into the incident is continuing.
• Theft from Vehicle (Bala Cynwyd) - Officers were alerted by a security company of suspicious males loitering near vehicles in the parking garage of an apartment complex. Upon arrival, officers located an unlocked Chevrolet that had been entered and gone through. The investigation into the incident is continuing.
• Theft from Vehicle (Bala Cynwyd) - The victim reported that their unlocked Toyota was entered and gone through overnight while parked along the roadway in front of their residence. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
• Theft from Vehicle (Merion Station) - The victim reported that their unlocked Kia was entered and gone through overnight while parked along the roadway in front of their residence. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.

• Theft of Bicycle (Merion Station) - The victim reported one of their bicycles was stolen off the front porch or their residence in the overnight hours. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
• Theft of Wallet (Rosemont) - The victim reported that their wallet was stolen from their purse while shopping at a grocery store. The purse was placed in the top of the shopping cart. The investigation into the incident is continuing.
