Burglary, Wallet Theft, Stolen Scooter: Lower Merion Crime Blotter

LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — Police in Lower Merion released details on recent crime incidents in the township.

These incidents occurred between Jan. 13 and Jan. 20.

Jan. 20

  • Theft (Bala Cynwyd) - The victim reported that their electric scooter was stolen from the front porch of their residence earlier this morning. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.

  • Burglary (Belmont Hills) - A mechanic shop was entered through unlocked doors sometime over the past two weeks. Multiple tools were taken from the building. The investigation into the incident is continuing.

Jan. 14

  • Theft of a Package (Ardmore) - The victim advised that a delivered package was stolen from the mail room of their apartment complex on Jan. 12. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.

Jan. 13

  • Theft of Wallet (Wynnewood) - While shopping at a local grocery store, the victim advised they were approached by an elderly male who asked her to read the labels of items. The victim advised when they reached the checkout, their wallet was missing. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
