Celebrating America’s 250th birthday in Haverford Township

Grand Finale choreographed lighted DRONE SHOW to illuminate the evening sky. Plus Live Music, Food, Crafts, Inflatables.We need helpers to make this happen!

WHEN: Saturday, August 29, 2026 12pm to 9:00 pm. Inflatables Noon to 7pm.

WHERE: Haverford High School Football Stadium - 200 Mill Road. Alternate entrance at 1701 Darby Road, Havertown, PA 19083

2026 Marks the 250th Anniversary of America. In Haverford Township we are celebrating the semiquincentennial milestone with a FREE admission festival.

This signature event, ILLUMINATION 250 Festival will take place Saturday, August 29th at the Haverford High School Football Stadium with a Spectacular Lighted Choregraphed 300 Drone Show after a day of Live Music, dancing, children’s activities, crafters, food trucks and more.

IF YOU GO:

• FREE Parking. Unmetered curbside street parking is available in the neighborhoods around the site. Please do not block driveways. Parking is permitted on the High School and Middle School lots.
• Parking is also available in municipal lots, Haverford Township building, Grace Chapel on the corner of Eagle and Darby Road. Uber, Lyft rideshare, is suggested to minimize long walks to the event. Limited Handicap spaces are available on all school and municipal lots.
• Alcohol, fireworks and weapons are not permitted to be brought into the field or elsewhere on the school property.
• Bicycles, E-bikes, skateboards, skates and scooters are not permitted inside the festival grounds. They must be parked in designated areas by the Middle and High Schools.
• Baby strollers are permitted.
• Pets are not permitted on festival grounds.
• Seating - Bring your own chair or blanket for seating on the field. Shade tents and umbrellas are permitted along with weights to secure them. Stakes of any kind are not permitted on the artificial turf field. Puncturing the artificial turf field with anything is Not Permitted.
