City Ave Popeye's Burglarized Twice In Feb, March: Police

A man broke into the restaurant on two occasions and stole cash register drawers from the drive through window, according to police.

The Popeye's restaurant on City Avenue, just outside Wynnewood, was burglarized twice in February and March, according to Philadelphia Police.

The Popeye's at 7500 City Ave. was burglarized Feb. 20 and March 5 and had cash stolen, police said.

In both occasions, a man got inside the restaurant through the drive through window and pried open a cash register, police said.

The suspect stole the cash drawer from the register, according to police.

He is described as a man with a light complexion and thin build who was wearing a dark hooded North Face sweatshirt with a North Face Logo on the chest, police said. He wore a camouflage jacket and dark pants in the other incident.
