City Avenue Lanes Closing Through Early November
St. Joseph's University will have utility work being done, forcing lane closures in both directions on weekdays through early November.
LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — City Avenue will have lane closures in both directions through early November due to utility construction at St. Joseph's University.
According to PennDOT, north and southbound lane closures will be in place weekdays starting this Thursday through Thursday, Nov. 10.
The closures will be in effect daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

PennDOT said the affected area is City Avenue/Route 1 at the intersection with Cardinal Avenue.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays will occur.
