City Avenue Restricted Through Late September: PennDOT
Crews will be doing drainage improvements and median installation on City Avenue for months, with work set to begin Monday, March 16.

LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — City Avenue/U.S. Route 1 will have weekday lane restrictions in both directions for drainage improvements and median installation, PennDOT said.
According to PennDOT, the City Avenue Special Services District will lane restrictions on northbound and southbound City Avenue beginning Monday, March 16.
From Monday, March 16, through Friday, March 20, lane closures are scheduled on northbound and southbound City Avenue between Berwick Road and Lapsley Lane for drainage work.

The work will be done between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.
Then, from Monday, March 23, through late September lane closures are scheduled on northbound and southbound City Avenue between Berwick Road and for drainage work; and 53rd Street for drainage work and median installation.

Work will be done between 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays will occur.
All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
