Construction In Ardmore To Affect Traffic For 12 Weeks
Starting Monday, June 3, intersection, road, and sidewalk work will affect traffic in the area in and around Suburban Square.
ARDMORE, PA — Construction at Suburban Square in Ardmore will affect traffic in and around the area for about 12 weeks starting Monday, June 3, according to Lower Merion Township.
Starting Monday, intersection, road, and sidewalk work will affect traffic in the area.
Crews will be working on a raised intersection and crosswalk at Anderson and Coulter avenues., utility upgrades, and other improvements.

During the work, the following impacts will be:
- One-way traffic northbound only on Anderson Avenue, from Station Avenue to Montgomery Avenue
- Closed access to the West Parking Lot (or “Ruby’s Lot”) from Anderson Avenue for half of the project’s length (Montgomery Avenue entrance will remain open)
- Alternating sidewalk impacts along Anderson Avenue during the course of the project

Lower Merion Township said SEPTA's Route 44 bus will be affected with southbound Anderson Avenue being closed from Montgomery Avenue.

The route will change to the Glenn Road connector through the shopping center, adjacent to the public parking garage and Urban Outfitters.
All work is subject to weather conditions, which could speed up or delay the anticipated finish times.
