Coronavirus Deaths Nearly Double In Lower Merion
Monday, there were 18 coronavirus-related deaths. That number nearly doubled on Tuesday, unfortunately.
LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — Coronavirus-related deaths in Lower Merion Township nearly doubled in a day, according to Montgomery County.
Data provided Monday showed the township had 18 coronavirus victims.
Tuesday's data shows that number almost doubled, with 32 deaths reported.

While the death count spiked, cases did not.
Of the 32 deaths, one person was in their 40s, four were in their 60s, one was in their 70s, 16 were in their 80s, and 10 were in their 90s.

Fourteen deaths were men while 18 were women.
The average age of coronavirus victims in Lower Merion is 84. The youngest fatality was 48 years old and the older fatality was 99.
As of Tuesday, the township has 381 cases. That only a four case increase from Monday. Still, Lower Merion has the most cases of any Montgomery County municipality.
Narberth has just 15 cases and no deaths.
Montgomery County has 353 death and 4,611 cases to date.
Springfield has the most deaths with 54.
