Credit Card Stolen From Vehicle Used At City Avenue BP: Lower Merion Police

If you can ID the pictured suspect, contact Lower Merion Police immediately.

Lower Merion Police are reporting a numerous thefts from vehicles in the Overbrook Hills section of the township, which led the thieves to use a stolen credit card at a City Avenue business. Now police need the public's help identifying the suspects.

According to police, reports of vehicle burglaries came in on Feb. 12 on Rock Glen Road. Police said items stolen from vehicles included sunglasses, registration and insurance cards, loose change, and a wallet with credit cards.

Police later discovered one of the stolen credit cards was attempted to be used at the BP gas station on City Avenue, across from Rock Glen Road, police said.

Luckily, the card's owner cancelled it, so the attempted purchase was denied twice, police said.
