Delaware Valley Friends School Demos Assistive Technology

Students will showcase a variety of assistive and creative technologies they use to support their learning.

A free, informative and educational event for families and educators interested in seeing assistive technologies in action as they are used to support students with learning differences.

On Wednesday, March 2, from 6:30-8:00 pm Delaware Valley Friends School students will be participating in a live demonstration at the Apple Store in the King of Prussia Mall.

Students will showcase a variety of assistive and creative technologies and applications that they use both in the classroom and individually to support their specific learning differences.

Delaware Valley Friends is an Apple Distinguished School, “providing 24/7, schoolwide, one-to-one access to Apple notebook computers and/or mobile devices to all students, teachers, and administrators, and demonstrating an innovative and compelling learning environment that engages students and provides tangible evidence of academic accomplishment.” DVFS has had a laptop 1-1 program in place since 1993 and was a national pioneer in implementing such programs in schools.
