DUI Crackdown In Lower Merion Lasting Through Aug 31
"Drive sober or get pulled over" is the motto for the impaired driving crackdown in Lower Merion that begins Friday and runs through Aug 31.
LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — Police in Lower Merion Township will be out targeting impaired drivers over the next 10 days as part of a DUI crackdown.
From Friday through Monday, Aug. 31, police will be conducting impaired driving patrols in the township.
Police will be focusing on finding driving who are operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol or controlled substances.

This initiative is in partnership with a national impaired driving crackdown featuring intensified, highly visible enforcement activities using the tagline “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over.”
Roving patrol details are funded by a PennDOT grant and are just one of the tools used to increase public safety through increased awareness created by high profile enforcement.
