Lecture: Promoting Science Literacy: A Job for Scientists, Not Just for Journalists

The McNulty Scholars Program hosts Dr. Amy Cheng Vollmer, Professor of Biology, Swarthmore College on Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at 4:00PM.  She will deliver her lecture "Promoting Science Literacy" in room 200 of the Science Center on the Saint Joseph's University campus. Dr. Vollmer teaches courses in microbiology, biotechnology, and introductory biology.  Her research focus is in the area of bacterial stress response.  Dr. Vollmer regularly lectures on her research, teaching, and promoting science literacy. This lecture is free and open to the public.
