A wonderful way to energize mid-day! An invigorating and centering class incorporating asana (poses), yoga nidra (deep relaxation), pranayama (breathing practices), meditation and chanting. Based on the spiritual practice that exercising the physical body and learning to completely relax it allows us to access our higher consciousness (yoga nidra). The class continues with pranayama to calm, clear and focus the mind, release toxins from the body enabling us to concentrate better during meditation. Believing that a "easeful body, peaceful mind will bring us to a fulfilling, useful life" each class has all 5 elements for physical and spiritual health. Integral Yoga® created by Sri Swami Satchidananda, and as taught by Vimukti, believed one should 'adapt, adjust, and accommodate' their yoga practice for their body's needs and comfort.
