Steve Galanter has enjoyed musical experiences in country, classic rock, R&B bands and an acoustic-based quartet and trios. Steve evokes multi-instrumental arrangements with sound loops created in real time, but brings feeling even to solitary rhythms. Steve adds occasional vocals and harmonies to fill out the trio's sound.
Steve Gray, a.k.a. the “Bass Man”, deftly moves around the beat to create foundational bass lines. Steve plays with nuance, counterpoint and soul, using both electric and double bass instruments to their full advantage. Steve has played in most musical configurations and has shared stages with the likes of Johnny Winter, Jimmy Vaughn and even Tina Fey.
Sala Wyman is the heart (literally and figuratively) of the trio, whose soulful and stylistic vocals heat up the trio’s broad range of musical genres. Sala brings a memorable presence to jazz standards and ballads and exceptional energy to contemporary favorites. With a voice described as “stunning” by the Seattle Times, Sala honed her craft during years of singing with jazz ensembles, choirs and R& B bands, and as an acappella artist on both coasts.
