Experts Speaking At LMSD Virtual Mental Health Panel June 10
Panelists include district psychologists and social workers, as well representatives of various area mental health organizations.
LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — The Lower Merion School District is gearing up to host a virtual panel on mental health and the coronavirus next month.
From 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, June 10, the district will host "Lessons Learned & Mental Health Considerations for the Fall" via Zoom.
"As we wrap up this school year and begin preparing for the fall, many questions and challenges still remain surrounding COVID-19 and its impact on mental health," the district said. "Please join us for a panel discussion featuring LMSD clinical team members and local community providers to identify ways to care for yourself, your children and others within the community."

Panelists include Lower Merion School District psychologists Dr. Timothy Edger and Dr. Melissa Padula as well as district social worker Natasha Denis. Community members who are joining the panel are Director of Montgomery County Mobile Crisis Moira Tumelty; Lower Merion Counseling & Mobile Services Coordination Supervisor Riley McConnell; NAMI Montco Executive Director Abby Grasso; and NAMI Main Line PA Board Member Nancy Dever.
