Ardmore Stabbing: Victim IDed, No Arrests Made

An Ardmore man has been identified as the person killed outside an Ardmore bar early Saturday morning.

ARDMORE, PA — Authorities in Montgomery County have identified the man fatally stabbed in Ardmore Saturday morning.

According to the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office and Lower Merion Police, the fatal stabbing victim was Michael Thomas Sides, 31, of Ardmore.

Sides was found suffering from multiple stab wounds at about 1:30 a.m. at Cricket Avenue and Cricket Terrace.

He was taken to Lankenau Hospital, where he died shortly before 2:30 a.m.

Authorities believe the stabbing stemmed from an altercation at a nearby bar.

Montgomery County Detectives and Lower Merion Police launched a joint investigation
into this apparent homicide.
