First Friday Mardi Gras Dance

The evening includes a vegetarian lasagna dinner, music and dancing, for just $5 and it's all for a good cause.

First Fridays are a great way to bring communities together. And this Friday, March 2, from 6:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m., the Philadelphia Developmental Disabilities Corporation and The Arc of Philadelphia are putting together a Mardi Gras Celebration and Dance. Merion Station resident Laura Princiotta, is a driving force, and the COO of the Philadelphia Developmental Disabilities Corporation.  Last year’s event was a total success, and this year’s should prove to be just as exciting.

The evening includes a vegetarian lasagna dinner, music and dancing to the sounds of DJ Mike Menschner of M Entertainment. The PDDC expects over 200 community members, including those with intellectual disabilities, as well as their families and friends.

The cost of the event is just $5 and goes to support the PDDC and The Arc of Philadelphia, a non-profit advocacy resource for those with developmental disabilities. Tickets are available in advance or at the door.
