On Thursday, May 5, 2016, at 7:15 p.m., Kaori Eto, a certified instructor in the art of Ikebana flower arranging, will introduce the Narberth Area Garden Club to the concept of Ikebana that values line, mass, and color of the arrangement and to techniques that elicit the potential of the flowers and related materials. Ms Eto started her education in Ikebana at the age of 8 in Japan and has been studying the art ever since, as well as exhibiting at venues such as the Philadelphia Flower Show and teaching Ikebana classes. Come to the Narberth Borough Building, 100 Conway Ave., Narberth, Pa., 19072, 2nd floor, Haverford Ave. entrance. Free for members; visitors welcome at $6. admission.
