Free Household Hazardous Waste Collection In Lower Merion Sunday

Stop by the Lower Merion event this weekend to safely dispose of hazardous household materials for free.

LOWER MERION, PA – Stop by an event in Lower Merion this weekend to safely dispose of hazardous household materials for free.

The collection event will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 21 at the Koegel Public Works Complex, located at 1300 N. Woodbine Ave. Penn Valley.

Only residents in Montgomery, Chester, Delaware, Bucks, and Philadelphia counties can participate in the event. Businesses, industry, and institutions are not permitted to use the collection services.

Directional signs and volunteers will help the public find the entrance of the event and into line. Typically, wait times are no longer than 30 minutes.

Those who choose to use the event's services should stay in their vehicles for safety reasons and unlock the trunk or any doors necessary to access materials for removal. Event staff will remove your materials and direct you to the exit.
