Graduating Soon, Student Thanks LMPD For Saving Life: Report
Two Lower Merion Police Officers just completed refresher courses on CPR and AED use before they jumped into action in February.

LOWER MERION, PA – Law enforcement personnel don't do their jobs to receive gratitude. But two Lower Merion police officers are getting kudos from a young woman who might not be following her dream without their quick actions.
Officers Jeff Sullivan and Rob Whitt were pulling into a parking on in the township after completing a refresher course on CPR and AED use when they saw 20-year-old Annie Fitzpatrick collapse from a seizure after she fell into cardiac arrest.
Sullivan and Whitt leaped into action, performing chest compression on Fitzpatrick, who has since recovered from the incident.

Fox 29 reports Fitzpatrick spent weeks in the hospital after the incident and promised herself that she would finish school at Harcum College and attend Drexel for environmental science.
All of that is possible thanks to Sullivan and Whitt's actions, she says.
