Helicopters Over Lower Merion Inspecting Train Tracks

Residents may spot helicopters flying over Lower Merion, and police said they are simply inspecting Amtrak lines.

LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — Police in Lower Merion said there is no cause cor concern if residents spot a helicopter hovering over the township.

According to police, helicopters are being used to conduct train track inspections in the region.

Helicopters may be hovering over specific areas for unknown durations, police said.
