Help Ardmore Restaurant Support Coronavirus Responders

You can help support healthcare workers, police, fire, and EMS personnel by joining the Ripplewood's "Burger Campaign."

ARDMORE, PA — Ripplewood Whiskey and Craft in Ardmore is raising money to support hospital workers, police and fire personnel during the new coronavirus, or COVID-19, epidemic.

The "Burger Campaign" asks the public to donate $21 to support the responders while also raising money to feed them burgers.

Of the $21 donation, $7 will go Lankenau Medical Center and Bryn Mawr Hospital; $7 will go to an employee fund for Ripplewood employees who are on furlough; and $7 will go to pay Ripplewood's cost to cook and deliver the burgers.

"If we get 100 donations, we cook 100 burgers with fries," the Burger Campaign Facebook page says. "If we get 500 donations we cook 500 burgers with fries."

Meals will be delivered this Friday.

"If we get more donations than we can deliver in one day, we will add days to get this food to the people who need it," the Ripplewood said. "We hope we have this problem."

So far, Ripplewood has given 258 Burgers to first responders.
