Holiday Tree To Be Lit Saturday In Marple
There will be music, dancing, refreshments, and more at Saturday's tree lighting event in Veterans Memorial Park.
BROOMALL, PA — The 19th annual Marple Township Holiday Tree lighting event is all set for this weekend at Veterans Memorial Park.
The event will take place at 6 p.m. Saturday in the park on Lawrence Road in Broomall.
Music and refreshments will keep attendees in the holiday spirit.

Community Reps & Emergency Services will be there to meet and greet attendees.
There will also be dance performances by Art in Motion Dancers and music from MN Choir.

Mailman Jim will be on hand to collect kids' letters to Santa Claus.
Local Scout troops are making edible decorations for the tree.
Before the lighting, there will be a parade throughout Marple. The parade will begin at 4:30 p.m. and end at the park.
