Home Comparison: New Construction

These area homes for sale are considered “new construction.” Of course, there aren’t many houses in Ardmore, Merion or Wynnewood that are new, let alone new and also still for sale.

So this week’s Home Comparison subject are new Ardmore condominiums, in a f0ur-story building called The Ardleigh recently built to resemble  “the grand style of the Main Line of yesteryear.” The building is located at 115 E. Montgomery Avenue, across the street from Suburban Square.

There are 10 residences with two or three bedrooms, ranging from 1,500 to 2,600 square feet in size. There were two units listed on Trulia.com earlier this week, one for $839,000 and another, smaller floor plan at $598,000.

Each residence comes with parking for two cars. There is an open house tomorrow (Sunday, June 12) from 2 to 4 p.m.
