Hosting International Students

International Education Opportunities is seeking warm, caring families located in the Philadelphia area who are interested in opening their home to an international student who will be enrolling for the second semester at local high schools and middle schools. Sharing your home with an international student is an excellent way for you and your family to learn about a new culture while sharing your own family traditions with someone new. Host families are paid a monthly stipend of $1,100 to help offset the cost of having another person in the household. International students should have their own bedroom with a proper bed, desk, and storage space, and access to common areas of the home. Students may have a private or shared bathroom.
