Huge Field Of Lower Merion School Board Candidates Battle In Forums: Report

Nine candidates are fighting for five seats in the Lower Merion School District’s school board race, and recent forums have been held to help the public learn more and choose.

Democrats include Subha Robinson, Virginia O. Pollard, Robin Vann Lynch, David C. Federman, and Diane DiBonaventuro, according to Main Line Media News.

All of them except for Federman are current board members.

Republican candidates include Mike Adler, Perry Hamilton, Christina Pink, and Gary Friedlander, according to the reort.

Voters will select five names on the November 3 ballot, and the five names with the most votes will win election.

Questions at the forums included taxes, the issue of live-streaming school board meetings, and the cost-per-student ratio, the report states.
