Storm Knocks Out Power In Lower Merion

LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — Due to storms that came through the Philly region, hundreds of PECO customers in Lower Merion Township were without power.

According to PECO's outage map, about 17 customers are without power due to an outage on Remington Road in the Wynnewood area as of about 3:45 p.m.

More than 800 were powerless earlier Tuesday.

PECO has listed the cause of these outages as severe weather.

There is no word on when power is expected to be restored to the township, but PECO's map shows crews are on the way to address the issues.
