I-476 South Lane Closing Overnight Next Week

The closure will affect Lower Merion, Radnor, Haverford, and Marple townships, as well as Conshohocken Borough.

MAIN LINE, PA — Interstate 476 in Lower Merion, Radnor, Haverford, and Marple townships will have a lane closure next week, PennDOT said.

A lane on southbound Interstate 476 will close overnight from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following morning next week.

The closure will be in effect Tuesday through Friday.

PennDOT said the affected area is between the U.S. 1 and Interstate 76 interchanges in Lower Merion Township and West Conshohocken Borough in Montgomery County and Radnor, Haverford and Marple townships.

The work is part of several projects to repair and resurface more than 200 miles of state highways across the five-county Philadelphia region.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because slowdowns will occur.
