I-76 Lanes Closing Overnight In Lower Merion Next Week

Crews will be clearing trees under a project to stabilize the existing rock slope along a stretch of eastbound Interstate 76.

LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — Drivers will encounter overnight intermittent lanes closures are on Interstate 76 in Lower Merion next week, PennDOT said.

Both directions of Interstate 76 will have the lane closures Tuesday through Friday due to tree clearing operations under a project to stabilize the existing rock slope along a stretch of eastbound I-76.

The affected portion of the road is between the Belmont Avenue and Conshohocken State Road/Route 23 interchanges in Lower Merion Township and West Conshohocken Borough.

Closures will be in place from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning.
