I-76 Lanes Closing This Week In Lower Merion Township

LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — Bridge inspection work will force lane closures on Interstate 76 in Lower Merion Township this week, according to PennDOT.

PennDOT said a right lane closure is planned on eastbound Interstate 76 on Wednesday, and a right lane closure is planned on westbound 76 Thursday.

On Wednesday, the closure will be in effect from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. between the Interstate 476 and the Belmont Avenue interchanges in West Conshohocken Borough and Lower Merion Township.

And on Thursday, the closure will be in effect from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. between the Belmont Avenue and the I-476 interchanges in Lower Merion Township and West Conshohocken Borough.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because slowdowns may occur.

All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
