Important End Of School Dates For LMSD Families

ARDMORE, PA – The school year is coming to a close with just weeks left of learning. As summer creeps up, you'll want to know some important dates in the Lower Merion School District.

Check out these big dates in the school district:

• Tuesday, May 16 – No school, staff development day;
• Friday, May 26 – Early dismissal, staff development day;
• Monday, May 29 – No school, Memorial Day;
• Teusday, June 6 – Lower Merion High School Commencement;
• Wednesday, June 7 – Harriton High School Commencement;
• Wednesday, June 14 – Belmont Hills 5th grade awards ceremony; Merion 4th and 5th grade awards ceremony;
• Thursday, June 15 – Bala Cynwyd and Welsh Valley middle schools 8th grade promotion ceremony;
• Friday, June 16 – Early dismissal, last day of school; all elementary school report cards issued; Belmont Hills, Penn Valley, Penn Wynne, and Gladwyne elementary schools 5th grade promotion ceremonies;
• Friday, June 23 – High school and middle school report cards issued.
