Interstate 76 Closing In Lower Merion For Bridge Work: PennDOT

LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — Interstate 76 in Lower Merion Township will be affected by bridge inspection work this week, PennDOT said.

According to PennDOT, a moving right lane closure is scheduled on Interstate 76 east between Belmont Avenue and the U.S. 1/Roosevelt Boulevard interchanges.

The closure will be in place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Then on Saturday, a moving left lane closure is scheduled for Interstate 76 west.

That closure will be in place from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The affected portion of road is also between the U.S. 1/Roosevelt Boulevard and the Belmont Avenue interchanges.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because slowdowns may occur.
