LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — Drivers on Interstate 76 in the Lower Merion area will encounter lane closures overnight next week, PennDOT said.

According to PennDOT, lanes on eastbound I-76 will be closed next week due to survey work.

The closures will be in place from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, PennDOT said.

Work will take place during those overnight hours Monday through Thursday.

The work area is between U.S. 202 and the Route 23/Conshohocken in Lower Merion and Upper Merion townships, as well as West Conshohocken Borough.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays will occur.
