Jackknifed Tractor Trailer Closes I-95 During Rush Hour In Philly

The crash closed Interstate 95 south between the Callowhill and Columbus Boulevard exits Thursday morning for several hours.

PHILADELPHIA — A tractor trailer crash on Interstate 95 south in Philadelphia closed the highway during the morning commute.

The crash occurred at about 5:54 a.m., according to PennDOT.

Due to the crash, I-95 south was closed between the Callowhill and Columbus Boulevard exits.

Action News reports the truck spilled fuel on the highway as a result of the crash.
