Jonathan Lawton '15 Signs Letter of Intent

On Friday, May 29th, Friends’ Central School’s Jonathan Lawton ‘15 signed a National Letter of Intent to attend St.Thomas Aquinas College in Sparkill, New York. He will be pursuing a degree and playing basketball for the St Thomas Aquinas Spartans. Jon was a four year member and two year captain of FCS Varsity boys’ basketball team. During his time at FCS, Jonathan scored 1510 career points. In his junior year, he averaged 23 points and 5 assists. As a senior, he averaged 18 points and 7 assists on the 22-8 Phoenix team. He was first team all Friends Schools League as a junior and a senior and First Team All Main Line as a junior and a senior. Jonathan played AAU ball with Team FOE (Family Over Everything). Jonathan Lawton was named 3rd team All State Class AA as a junior.
