Dolan Fund's 'Holiday Adopt-A-Family Program' Achieves Enormous Gift Giving For Families With Seriously Ill Children

November 10, 2015— The Kelly Anne Dolan Memorial Fund is on pace to fill 265 Holiday Adopt-A-Family request on the behalf of families caring for seriously ill or disabled children in Pennsylvania, Delaware, and New Jersey. Request are coming daily and we need more sponsors like businesses, church groups, community organizations and schools to really make the holidays special for families.

The Kelly Anne Dolan Memorial Fund actively looking for donors willing to purchase gifts or gift cards for families in need. The program matches families of seriously ill or disabled children with these donors to ensure that families in crisis can share in the spirit of the holiday season.

The 2014 Holiday program served 264 families last year that is more than 1,100 patients, their siblings, and parents.

Donors are asked to spend about $75 to $100 on each family member and the size of the family can be selected. Unwrapped gifts are delivered to Wissahickon Fire Company in Ambler, PA on December 7 and 8, 2015.

This process introduces community sponsors to the difficulties and hardships their adopted families by lightening their burdens and lifting their spirits through the holiday season.
