Kids Eat Local: Grape Leaves Grille

Sometimes it’s just easier to order in, and knowing what’s available for the kids is just as important as deciding what you’ll be having. So before you pick up the phone, be sure to know if Grape Leaves Grille is the right pick for you and the kids.

Is there a kids’ menu? Yes, there is a children’s menu for kids 11  and under with American menu items for $4.95. Choices include a Hamburger, Kid’s Boneless (five boneless wings with sauce), the Tender Meal (two tenders and sauce) and Grilled Chicken Breast Sandwich (on a roll). Each comes with a small order of French fries and a 12-ounce soda. There are also hand-held items like fried pierogies and spanakopita (spinach pie), that are definitely kid friendly.

Are there healthy options? The Grilled Chicken Breast Sandwich is probably the most healthy option on the kid’s menu, but there are other items on the Mediterranean menu that would also be healthy, including salads and hummus.

How does the restaurant deal with food allergies? Be sure to alert the person taking your order about any known food allergies, so that Grape Leaves may take the proper precautions. If your child has a severe allergy, be vigilant. They do offer a gluten free falafel.

Is the restaurant so quiet that any childish outburst will draw attention, or is there enough noise that a small cry is likely to go unnoticed? Grape Leaves is a pick-up or delivery business only. Eating in is not an option.

Is there enough room for a stroller? Yes. The pick-up area is large enough to walk in and wait for an order.

Is there a baby changing station in the restroom? 
There is no available restroom, as this is a pick-up or delivery only establishment.
