Lancaster Ave Lane Closing Weeknights Through Late September: PennDOT

PennDOT said a lane on Lancaster Avenue in Lower Merion Township will be closed weekdays due to PECO utility construction work.

LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — Lancaster Avenue in Lower Merion Township will have a lane closure that will be in place weeknights through late September, PennDOT said.

According to PennDOT, PECO utility work will force a lane closure on Lancaster Avenue from Monday, Aug. 14 through Friday, Sept. 29.

Work will take place in both directions between Wynnewood and Old Wynnewood roads.

The work hours are 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays will occur.
