Lancaster Ave Lanes Closing For PECO Work In Lower Merion

LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — Part of Lancaster Avenue will be reduced to one lane in each direction for several days next week and all of the following week, according to PennDOT.

PECO will be doing utility construction work on Lancaster Avenue/U.S. Route 30 Tuesday through Thursday next week, as well as Monday, June 6 through Friday, June 10.

Work will be done overnight from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following morning.

The affected portion of road is between Bryn Mawr Avenue and Pennswood Road.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays will occur.

All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
