Lanes Closing On Interstate 76 In Lower Merion Next Week
Bridge inspections will affect traffic on Interstate 76 east and west next week during the daytime, forcing lane closures, PennDOT said.
LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — Bridge inspection work in Lower Merion Township will have an impact on Interstate 76 travel next week, according to PennDOT.
Inspection work will take place on Interstate 76 west Monday and Wednesday, and inspections on Interstate 76 east will take place Tuesday and Thursday.
Work hours for all four days is 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Moving closures will affect the right travel lanes on the west and eastbound directions.
The affected portion of road in I-76 west is between the Gladwyne and the Route 23 interchanges in West Conshohocken Borough and Lower Merion Township.

And on I-76 east, inspections will be done between the Interstate 476 and Belmont Avenue interchanges in West Conshohocken Borough and Lower Merion Township
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because slowdowns may occur.
