Lankenau’s $529M New Building ‘Topped Off’ Monday
Employees signed a top beam for the new patient pavilion.

At a ceremony at the in Wynnewood on Monday, employees signed an I-beam that will be placed at the top of the hospital’s new $529 million patient pavilion, Mike Denardo of KYW Newsradio reported.
Construction started about a year ago, and the patient tower should open in June of 2013.
The five-story structure, focusing on heart and vascular care, will include new intensive care units, and all rooms are private, Lankenau President Phil Robinson told the radio station.

A new 1300-car parking garage is due to open at Lankenau next month.
